What exactly is a “Print Ready File”?
A print ready file is a final piece of artwork that has been approved for colour and content with trim marks and a 3mm bleed. This allows us to print directly from the artwork without making any alteration to the artwork you have created.
What exactly is CMYK?
This relates to the colours we use to print full colour pictures and CMYK is the print and design terminology for Cyan, Magenta Yellow and Black.
What exactly do you mean by “Bleed”?
When your artwork is printed we use sheets larger than the dimensions you have ordered from us and trim to size using a guillotine to ensure that design is carried through to the outer edges. It is standard practice for a printer to request an additional 3mm bleed area to ensure that absolutely nothing is missed in this process.
Can I order by email?
Yes, please send any enquiries or artwork to firstname.lastname@example.org
and we will contact you in order to process payment or with any queries relating to the order.
What happens if I’m not available when the courier calls?
If our courier cannot deliver the package, they will attempt to deliver again on the next working day or make an arrangement so that it can be collected from their local depot.
Will your package be branded by Clear Designs?
No, we are aware that some customers prefer discreet packaging and therefore all of our print jobs are forwarded in plain paper with our address printed merely for information purposes.
What is your payment policy?
Payment in full will be required on all orders and can be made via our website which accepts all major credit and debit cards. Further information in relation to our payment policy can also be located within our website terms and conditions
